What are your payment terms for bookings?

When creating a logo we require a 50% deposit toward the agreed-upon total. This is to solidify your place on the work calendar and runs on a first come first serve basis. The remaining 50% will be paid halfway through the design process. Items will then be transferred over once the final amount has been paid. When creating a website, the project must be paid in full before the commencement of the project. This is to ensure the designer is not locked out of the website before the work is completed. The client is required to make the purchase of the domain and the web host so that it is in the possession of the site owner and operator.

How long does a logo design take?

My designs will run an estimated 2-6 weeks for a full design with 5-8 concepts and 3 rounds of Revisions.

What are these bolded terms you are using?

Concepts - are different design directions or variations of one logo name. They can vary in colour, font, and design to make sure we cover a broader scope of design options to choose the concept we wish to move forward within the revisions faze.

Revisions - We then have 3 ‘rounds’ to discuss the chosen design from the concepts. Each round is an opportunity to give your feedback so that I may interpret the revisions for the new concept. To make the most of your rounds of revisions, please compile all your feedback into a concise and clear descriptive email or phone call.

How long does a website design take?

It will take about 3-6 weeks to complete a website design on my end and I will need all content and copy before I start a design.

What content and copy do I need to start?

At the start of the process, we will have a discovery call to chat about your business, your needs, and the general flow and pages required. This will give you a good idea of categories to then tackle collecting photos and a written copy of who you are and what you offer. Do I need a domain before I start?

You do require a domain however I can help you through the process and do recommend purchasing the domain through Squarespace as it will be the easiest to manage for yourself after the website has been completed and you are managing it yourself.

Refunds & Payment Collection 

I take your investment seriously, and I’d appreciate if you took my investment of time and resources into your success seriously too.

Due to the nature of the services and/or products provided, refunds will not be given unless otherwise specified in writing. 

I do not provide refunds for change of mind.

If there is a minor fault with the functioning of your website, with the exception of 3d party apps, please contact me within 15 days of the completion of your site so I can take a look and fix if need be.

If different file formats of your logo, 1 color change of designs are needed for print, etc…I am happy to provide any file type within 3 months of final payment. After said time, my hourly rate will apply.
